Making the decision to start therapy is a sign of strength.  Its sign that you want to take control over your life, your emotions, and your relationships.

Seeking out therapy is an individual choice.  Working with a therapist can help provide support and new strategies for all types of life challenges.  Therapy addresses many types of issues, including depression, anxiety, conflict, stress management, body-image issues, and general  life transitions.

Every session is unique and caters to each individual and their goals.  Clients usually express afterwords a relief of being able to express themselves unconditionally without being judged or blamed and just being heard and given options.  There are some things you can expect out of therapy:

  • Compassion, respect, and understanding
  • Strategies for enhancing positive changes in yourself

Most clients start weekly, especially the first few weeks.  My experience is that this provides the best success for creating and sustaining change in one’s life.
